Neighborhood Sequence & Architectural Guidelines for the City of D'Iberville
Inspired by the work of Urban Design Associates for the Mississippi Renewal, these are a set of drawings to show the simple sequence of stages and parts to make a complete neighborhood in the city of D'Iberville, from connectivity of streets down to the individual house.
In the adoption of the SmartCode and encouraging mixed-use development, a guidelines booklet was developed for architects, developers, residents, business owners, etc.
Architectural Guidelines and SmartCode were adopted in December 2010.
         These architectural guidelines were compiled to convey ideas of what should be constructed, how to, and why. Every guideline also included an example of what should not be allowed. |
